Els Johns volen proposar un concert a la fresca i una performance que és part del viatge en furgoneta per Europa que realitzaran aquest estiu. El seu pla consisteix en oferir l’atmosfera d’aquelles càlides vetllades a la vora del foc amb la companyia d’amics mentres s’expliquen històries i se n’escolten d’altres amb una guitarra i un whisky a la mà (o sense). Els Johns volen sentir-vos i saber que diuen, viuen, veuen i beuen els habitants d’aquest racó del planeta. El somni dels John the Houseband és ser trobadors, portadors i receptors i per això volen posar-hi els instruments i fer servir les armes...del ritme, la música i el ball. Us atrevirieu a confessar-vos sota la disco-ball???
Del juliol a l’octubre John The Houseband farà un recorregut amb parades per diverses ciutats d’Espanya, Alemania, Eslovènia, Itàlia i Holanda. Durant el viatge, proposaran en diversos teatres i indrets una pràctica entre l’espectacle, la improvització i el joc musical amb el públic.


John The Houseband és un grup, un col.lectiu de joves amb arrels europees creat l’any 2008 i que són formats en els nous llenguatges de les arts i el moviment. John The Houseband son sis coreògrafs, ballarins, actors i filòsofs professionals i una reunió d’amics al mateix temps amb la idea de crear i invitar a reflexionar sobre la música en escena.

Los Johns quieren proponer un concierto al fresco y una performance que es parte del viaje en furgoneta por Europa que realizarán durante este verano. Su plan consiste en ofrecer la atmosfera de aquellas cálidas veladas cerca del fuego, con la compañía de amigos mientras se explican historias y se escuchan otras con una guitarra y un whisky en la mano (o sin). Los Johns quieren sentiros y saber qué dicen, viven, ven y beben los habitantes de este rincón del planeta. El sueño de los John The Housband es ser trobadores, portadores y receptores y por eso quieren poner instrumentos y utilizar las armas... del ritmo, la música y el baile. De julio a octubre John The Houseband hará un recorrido con paradas por diversas ciudades de España, Alemania, Eslovenia, Italia y Holanda. Durante el viaje, propondrán en diversos teatros y lugares una práctica entre el espectáculo, la improvisación y juego musical con el público.

John The Houseband es un grupo, un colectivo de jóvenes con raíces europeas creado en 2008 y que están formados en los nuevos lenguajes de las artes y el movimiento. John The Housband son seis coreógrafos, bailarines, actores y filósofos profesionales y una reunión de amigos al mismo tiempo con la idea de crear y invitar a reflexionar sobre la música en escena.

The Johns want to propose an al fresco concert and performance as part of the van trip around Europe that they will be making this summer. They want to recreate the ambience of those warm nights around the campfire, in the company of friends, while tales are exchanged to the sound of a guitar and holding a glass of whisky (or not). The Johns want to feel you and to know what the inhabitants of this particular corner of the planet say, live, see and drink. The dream of John The Houseband is to be troubadours, bringers, and receivers and that’s why they want to provide instruments and use the weapons… of rhythm, music and dance. Do you dare confess under the mirror ball?
From July to October John The Houseband will travel through the cities of Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Italy and the Netherlands making stops along the way. During their trip, they will propose to theaters and other places, a practice dealing with improvisation, performance and interaction and game with their audiences.


John The Houseband is a band made up of young people with European roots, stablished on 2008, trained in new languages of arts and movement. John The Houseband is six choreographers, dancers, actors and professional philosophers, and at the same time a reunion of friends who want to create and encourage reflection on performed music.
