LES ACTRIUS SEMPRE MENTEIXEN és una investigació escènica que part de l'estereotip i els tòpics associats a l'univers de l'actriu (què sap fer una actriu pel fet de ser-ho?), per utilitzar-lo com a excusa, transcendir-lo i parlar dels temes que ens interessen com a creadores i com individus (amor, família, precarietat, política, mort). Partim del supòsit que tot el que succeeix en un escenari és una mentida pactada, ja no ens importa la veritat en escena, entenem que tot és una construcció al voltant de la veritat, amb més o menys veritat, però mentida. Entenem que a la vida també, tot són construccions, tot són mentides.

La companyia EL POLLO CAMPERO. COMIDAS PARA LLEVAR neix al març de 2012 i mostra una primera aproximació del seu treball mesos després als IN-FORMALS de La Poderosa (Barcelona, novembre 2012). A partir d'aquí, la companyia continua investigant i realitzant diferents proves escèniques fins que s'estrena la seva primera peça completa titulada SEKVANTARO. PIEZAS CODEPENDIENTES DE DURACIÓN RELATIVA EN LAS QUE LAS ACTRICES INTENTARÁN NO HACER TEATRO en el marc del festival internacional de nous investigadors escènics V CENIT (TNT-Atalaya), on reben el premi al millor espectacle.
Després d'això, actuen en diferents festivals, entre ells el ACT Festival, on també reben el premi a la millor direcció. Paral·lelament, reben el premi al millor espectacle revelació als II Premios Andaluces de Teatro.

Actualment, realitzen gira amb aquest primer espectacle per diferents sales i festivals (GREC-Antic Teatre Barcelona, LEAL LAV-Tenerife, Escena Abierta-Burgos, Festival InTacto-Vitòria, FRINGE-Escorxador de Madrid, Festival Fronterizo -Santander, Espacio Labruc-Madrid , Ateneo MuchaVida-Madrid, Espacio Escénico DT-Madrid, Espacio Taktá-Càceres, Sala Ultramar-València), realitzen tallers i preparen la gira del seu segon espectacle (seleccionat dins del Circuito de la Red de Teatros Alternativos) de títol LAS ACTRICES SIEMPRE MIENTEN.

LAS ACTRICES SIEMPRE MIENTEN es una investigación escénica que parte del estereotipo y los tópicos asociados al universo de la actriz (¿qué sabe hacer una actriz por el hecho de serlo?), para utilizarlo como excusa, trascenderlo y hablar de los temas que nos interesan como creadoras y como individuas (amor, familia, precariedad, política, muerte). Partimos del supuesto de que todo lo que sucede en un escenario es una mentira pactada, ya no nos importa la verdad en escena, entendemos que todo es una construcción alrededor de la verdad, con más o menos verdad, pero mentira. Entendemos que en la vida también, todo son construcciones, todo son mentiras.

La compañía EL POLLO CAMPERO. COMIDAS PARA LLEVAR nace en marzo de 2012 y muestra una primera aproximación de su trabajo meses después en los IN-FORMALS de La Poderosa (Barcelona, noviembre 2012). A partir de ahí, la compañía continúa investigando y realizando distintas pruebas escénicas hasta que se estrena su primera pieza completa titulada SEKVANTARO. PIEZAS CODEPENDIENTES DE DURACIÓN RELATIVA EN LAS QUE LAS ACTRICES INTENTARÁN NO HACER TEATRO en el marco del festival internacional de nuevos investigadores escénicos V CENIT (TNT-Atalaya), donde reciben el premio al mejor espectáculo.
Después de eso, actúan en distintos festivales, entre ellos el ACT Festival, donde también reciben el premio a la mejor dirección. Paralelamente, reciben el premio al mejor espectáculo revelación en los II Premios Andaluces de Teatro.

Actualmente, realizan gira con este primer espectáculo por distintas salas y festivales (GREC-Antic Teatre Barcelona, LEAL LAV-Tenerife, Escena Abierta-Burgos, Festival InTacto-Vitoria, FRINGE-Matadero de Madrid, Festival Fronterizo-Santander, Espacio Labruc-Madrid, Ateneo MuchaVida-Madrid, Espacio Escénico DT-Madrid, Espacio Taktá-Cáceres, Sala Ultramar-Valencia), realizan talleres y preparan la gira de su segundo espectáculo (seleccionado dentro del Circuito de la Red de Teatros Alternativos) de título LAS ACTRICES SIEMPRE MIENTEN.

LAS ACTRICES SIEMPRE MIENTEN (Actresses always lie) is a dramatic investigation based on the stereotypes and themes associated with the actress (what does an actress know how to do just by being one?) using these as an excuse and transcending them in order to talk about things we're interested in as creators and individuals (love, family, job insecurity, politics, death). We start by assuming that everything that happens on a stage is an agreed lie, we no longer care about truth on stage, we understand that everything is a construct around the truth, with more or fewer elements of truth, but still a lie. We also understand that in life everything is a construct, everything is a lie.

EL POLLO CAMPERO. COMIDAS PARA LLEVAR emerged in March 2012 and presented its first draft for a piece a few months later at the La Poderosa IN-FORMALS (Barcelona, November 2012). From then on, the company continued to investigate and try out new performance ideas until the premiere of their first completed work, SEKVANTARO. After this, they performed at various festivals, including ACT, where they also received the prize for best director. At the same time, they were awarded best newcomer at the second Andalusian Theatre Awards.
